The Ceremony

The Ceremony will take place at Highgate Carriage House, located at 830 Walnut Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554.

Yes. We are planning informal gatherings featuring "Fairmont's Greatest Hits" on Friday, the morning of the wedding, and Sunday. All are optional.

When you RSVP, please provide your arrival and departure date so we can plan logistics.

Guests are invited to arrive at 3:30 PM. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 followed by cocktail hour and appetizers, while the couple gets pictures taken. Dinner from Julio's will be served at 5:30, followed by dancing and partying until 10:00 PM.

The ceremony will be outdoors in a garden setting. The reception dinner and party will be held under a large, open-air tent. Restrooms and a lounge are available indoors.

Dress Semi-Formal or Beach Formal. Our definitions for those two are available here.

Dinner will be catered by Julio's Cafe of Clarksburg, WV served by their staff in a buffet style.

Options for Entrees are:

• 4 oz filet mignon with potatoes and vegetables

• Wild Norwegian Salmon with pasta and vegetables

• Costanza pasta served over rigatoni (Vegetarian friendly dish)

Dessert will be:

• Chocolate mousse squares

• Eclairs

Beverages (coffee, tea, soda, water, and lemonade) and an open bar will be available throughout.

Parking will be available at one of the nearby churches - First Baptist Church or Christ Episcopal Church. Both are across the street from the venue. There is also limited street parking available.

For those interested in not driving, we have also arranged for transportation from the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Fairmont to the venue (it will be available to those who are not staying at the Fairfield, as well).

Absolutely! The groom is little more than a grown child, so it'd be hypocritical not to invite actual children, too.

Nobody wants to do COVID-19 precautions. We don't want to do COVID-19 precautions. But we want to ensure everyone feels safe, so we plan to we plan to request our guests be vaccinated or obtain proof of negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within three days before the event.

Thank you in advance for showing care for one another and particularly those in attendance who may be more vulnerable.

Fairmont has several free COVID testing locations available, one of which is within walking distance of the venue. You can find those available on the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources' Free COVID-19 site (filter by Marion County).

We will also update you with any changes to our COVID-19 precaution approach as the pandemic evolves.
